Hi All,

Just wanted to open this thread to inform everyone about my great experience with Steve Sadler aka the tuning god :D

Some know my car i think! bud let's start:cool:

I buyed my car 2 years ago, it looked like this:

http://images.pistonheads.com/aimg/781/781587-6.jpg

Actually it look like this :) (made some modifications)

Bud lets talk about the tuning history, when i buyed it it had the following setup:

• Front mount intercooler
• HKS EVC 6 boost controller
• HKS SSQV
• APEXI Super Suction Kit
• HKS Hi -Power exhaust
• Nismo 740cc Injectors
• Z32 AFM
• R32 GTR decat
• Walbro 255 fuel pump
• NGK iridium plugs
• GT2871R turbo 0.63a/r
• Horsham developments custom mapping
• ORC 409 single plate + Lightened Flywheel (350 Miles)
• Nismo 6 Speed Gearbox

Good for 344,6HP (checked before mapping with steve @ DP engineering)

Last year november i saw steve for the first time @ DP to get some real tuning on the car! After 2-3 hours of testing the car produced a real great power of 426,3HP @1.5bar

Before mapping i did make some small modifications:
-HKS Manifold
-HKS elbow + twin downpipe
-Apex z32AFM intake

Here's a video:
http://fctuning.com/fctwp/?p=586http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfTjESRKf6s

Bud as everyone knows, you get used to it :D
after 6 months i broke my nismo gearbox  so a good reason the upgrade some parts (still the engine runs smoothie like hell)

So i contacted Mazworx, and ordered:

SR-VG conversionkit
Upgrade Alu driveShaft (good for 1000hp)
300zx z32 gearbox
Topmounted mazworx manifold inc gt3076R a/r 0.82 turbo kit inc tial 44mm wastergate + screamer etc..
S14 exedy twin plate kit
etc..
Also fitted a new apex cooler

Manifold + cooler

Turbo + tial 44mm + screamerpipe

exedy twinplate:

Ready for some big power:

So, the car was ready for a remap again. Had some good contact with steve again, and he was enyoing to do the car again! So he came back in Juli

On the dyno:

The car made fast 400+ bhp after some short mapping on only 1.2Bar. But we started to get some problems with the fueling above 1.6 bar  the 740cc injectors running over 100% duty. We tried to put an extra bosch pump external but it diddn't work. the car made at 1.6-7 bar 475HP

So whe had no other option to bring the car back to 1.4 bar safe. the graph from that:

Video after mapping:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Uvn6PqceJI

So the plans are now:
New 2000cc injectors (for the future plans:D)
New FPR
New fuellines
Fit the bosch pump internal
And meybe a Greddy intake plenum

Than we go for the 2bar a 500+hp with the stock engine (me and steve are very interested how good it will keep the power:wack:)

so guys, hope you enjoy al this information!

And many thanx to steve aka:thumbs:

And last bud not least, some extra stuff to jurk off on hehehehe

Can you get a pic of how the Z32 gearbox fitted and pics of the shifter location as well, was there any cutting involved? I am thinking of a Z33 box six speed like the S15 and strong like a Z32 ;). Really nice work and choice parts. I am saving for my parts and may try to get Steve to come over to Trinidad to do some tuning.

Would it not be better to have some sort of bend between the turbo and MAF, heard running the MAF too close to the compressor can give mixed readings, rule of thumb was something like 18 inches away or something like that.

Thnx peeps :)

Yeah on that foto the AFM was direct on it, bud before the mapping whe made a 15cm away from the compressor (no more space) Bud still have problems with engine fall out from high rpm

I will make a foto of it, also for trinigt how the gearbox fit and shifter (yeah there was some cutting because the shifter comes lower, the center comes like you have it in 2nd gear)

Hmmm that was the only thing that detered me from it, I think the Z33 has that floating shifter that can be made to sit anywhere making the lineup spot on. Get some more pics of the underneath and the interior shifter setup please :D.

Wow that's an immense build but surely your bum is twitching from having pretty stock engine internals against now running kahoona boost plus power/torque like how Steve has beautifully mapped lol?! :wack:

Looks like the turbo doesn't come alive until 4500 rpm and it kicks you in the back like a very pissed of mule!!!! :D

So the Mazworx prop shaft will mate the Z32 box with an S15 diff? That sounds awesome! I could do with one that mates the RB box with S15 diff :)

Credit to you mate - I love it when there's so much packed into a diddly S15... much more interesting than reading about the usual 500+ bhp regular Skyline builds *yawn*

Thx mate :)

The prop shaft indeed fits the z32 gearbox + s15 diff

and it kicks ass at 4500rpm hehehe

Mate you're really making me think I should get the same top mount turbo kit lol: :wack:

http://www.mazworx.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=3107

Although the only thing I wasn't too keen on is losing fast road responsiveness at the lower end of the revs and that bigger T3 turbo looks like she wakes up suddenly at 4500 rpm lol :) Although for the track this kit and turbo seems ideal... ah decisions decisions!!!

That's one impressive S15 you have there.

Look forward to seeing it progress.

Can't imagine what driving a 500+ S15 would be like.

Nice job
