Stock Front Bumper Question

hi, what does the two middle black button clips attach too see picture-

these two pictured? is it a piece of plastic or? this is a pic i found online

mine only attaches one each side of these and has the holes to attach it but there is nothing there.

they attach to the bumper mount bracket - a metal piece that bolts on to the inner front wings either side.

so the black part pictured that it mounts too is metal?

as mine has nothing there whatsover...

Has it had a front mount fitted or a different bumper at some point? may have been removed for this reason?

i think it had a diff front bumper in its life the previous owner said!

is it a structural bar? ie. do i need it

yep, should be there and is metal. .....if you have had a fmic fitted then they could of gone mad and removed it completely to make room which isnt really needed either that or a little fender bender and that part wasnt replaced.

but its a bolt in bar right? so i can try and source a second hander maybe
