Any idea what the case could be?

check your front disks for cracks and warping. Also see that the pads are wearing evenly. Most of the time it will be the disks warping. Have you done any track days or anything like that?

:nod: Warped discs it sounds... Could be caked dust build up though.

I have done one trackday with these brakes, it was a year ago and in the snow, so wasnt much hard braking going on :no:

Had the discs for a year (about 4-5k miles), they are Brens 315mm kit with (then) new 2500's, so shouldnt be finished after that short distance :no:

Thinking about it, I did have one of the bolts holding the caliper to the bracket pull itself out of the hole, ripping the thread and pulling the hole at one side of the bracket, i re-threaded it all and fitted it with loctite the 2nd time round, which has worked. Do you think the pulled hole could be the problem?

Check the calliper clearance off the disc (both ends).
