It'll sit higher when cold, Krish. 6 bar at idle cold is healthy and normal, it'll blip up slightly once you increase revs. As the engine warms up oil pressure will decrease as the oil thins out but it'll increase up to about 6 bar again as the revs get higher. Cold weather tends to give you higher oil pressure readings also.
The Evo has given me nothing but problems, mate. It was off the road for nearly two months with issues and waiting for parts to arrive. Got it all up and running a few weeks back and the Koyo rad sprung a leak in the core last week so had to replace that too. It's really testing my patients:wack:

Adam really gutted to hear bout your problems with the evo but stick at it mate it will be worth it, and interesting thread i want a oil pressure gauge in my car and therefore nice to no bout changes in pressure due to situations

Mine does exactly the same so it's nothing to worry about
Hahaha are you a Doctor...maybe trying to diagnose the EVO qualifies you.
