Hi all. Has anyone had the mode selection fail before? When i select it it switches between screen/vents/feet etc, but it does not physically change. I hear a tiny click and that's it. I think the unit is ok as the fan and everything else works.

Could someone shed any light? Also, where abouts is the selector under the dash?

Cheers guys.

A cable might have come off i would try and trace them under the dash to find out which one it is. They look like bike brake cables but normally white, blue, or black. If you work the controls you should be able to see which cable does what.

Ahh, but it's all electronic. no cables go from the controls to heater. there are only two connectors into the loom, hence the problem.

Yeehah! Fixed it. The arm that moves the closure for the vents and windscreen had popped off. I managed to get it on again with some deft use of long screwdrivers :)

I now don't have to stop to wipe my windscreen :)

That probably happened during the time you had the car in pieces fitting all the heavy duty cabling for your new ICE set-up
