    Bang and all was quiet

    :( Well thats blown it, I was racing yesterday when the pipe to the boost controler came off so max boost and no fuel cut. Melted 2 plugs and munched some valves just in the middle of getting the head off to see the damage and start saving. Oh the joy of motor sport

    coilpack issue? help

    I'm having an issue with my coilpacks. The car wasn't running well and miss firing, it all pointed to the spark plugs/coilpacks. We took the harness off to take a look, noticed a bad earth so re did that, checked all the coils and plugs, put it all back together, and now it won't even start...

    serious det with colder spark plugs..

    being getting some serious det readings on my pfc with denso ik24 plugs in, over the last month it was registering 75 knock, even just cruising at 60, when the car was mapped a few months back ngk bkr6eix plugs were in, i had the colder plugs in the boot forgot to put em in b4 left :no:, any way...

    So I'm thinking of changing my plugs, now I've been told that the nissan factory ones are the platium type and only need to be changed every 100 000km. So would it be worth buying a different type or sticking with the factory ones? If I was going to get a different type what other ones are...

    a couple times now, i'd driven the car and it's felt "spluttery". twice, was when the car was cold the other morning.... not like a constant mis-fire, just a little "chuggy". The car was not fully warm at this point, but, after stopping, turning off the car, going about, doing what i was doing...
