No 2000 is legal (able to pass ESVA as there is a model report).

Mine is a X-reg Dec 2000 which was one of the last off the production line to be able to be imported into the UK. And it didnt have any probs passing ESVA.

For the record, the one Phil is looking at on the driftworks thread was imported into the UK brand new! Is that still even classed as a Japanese import?

This must be very much car specific as there's always nearly new cars in the UK!

Well its stricly classed as a Japanese Import if it was registered in Japan first. As in off the production line etc.

Still, sounds a bargain either way to me. Knowing the complete history would be nice.
