Door light sensor not working

Just noticed that my interior light isn't coming on when I open the passenger door. Had a look in the pressure sensor and found only one wire going to the connector. Not really an issue, as the screw would earth the sensor. Checked the driver's door and there are three or four wires. Swapped sensors and got the same result.

Do other people's interior lights come on when the passenger door is opened?

Yes, but mine maybe has a ultra JDM tyte HKS Double Door Interior Light Controller Device installed... that may be possible...

mine lights up, i think the 4 wires are for the light and the beeping noise

Well, the suggested solution to this one by a sparky was to add a new wire between the sensor and interior light. Much simpler than trying to track where the problem is...
