Hi Ladies and Gents,
I am just wanting to replace my head unit with a fixed Sat Nav/Audio system.
I was looking at the below from Car Audio Centre:
Kenwood DNX-4250BT 6.1" touch screen AV navigation unit with built in bluetooth
The reason for this choice is because i need an Android connection.
Any advice assitance would be great.
*Hi, thought i would add this little extra bit as well, could any one provide me details of the stock wiring for the S15 as i am getting conflicting information on the net.
I have heard its as simple as getting an ISO Adaptor?
Below is the wire coding i found, does this ring true to all of you?
Power:
Black/red stripe = Constant 12V (for memory - which is usually the yellow on a wire harness)
White/black stripe = Ground (connects to black wire on a harness)
The antenna is also Ground as well and neccessary to get a circuit.
Orange = 12V (turns on only when you start ignition - connects to red wire on a wire harness)
Blue/red stripe = Illumination (attaches to lights being swtiched on - usually attached to a blue wire on a aftermarket harness)
Speakers:
Brown = front right (+)
Brown/grey stripe = front right (-)
Blue/white stripe = front left (+)
Blue/orange stripe = front left (-)
Blue = rear right (+)
Red = rear right (-)
White = rear left (+)
Black = rear left (-)
thanks,
Jack
