FMIC with fogs

So who said the fogs dont fit ?

My techy friend chris fitted my fmic over the last week, but he was scared on cutting my bumper
so my other half Mark did it today,
He was armed with a dremel and a flapwheel :wack:
he had to do alot of cutting around the intercooler, however around the pipework the plastic of the bumper
only needed slightly thinning for the fogs to fit.
The fog mounting did not have to be touched,and my fogs fitted right in nicely :notworthy:

i'm well pleased :clap: it looks the dogs :notworthy:

i couldnt believe it myself
i thought mark was having me on, but he wasnt :no:

we switched them on and had the car running nothing touching :nod:

I suspected that, if I could have been bothered, I could have got them to fit in the standard bumper. No chance in the Aero...

Especially on the fittings and how they attach to the bumper?

I would of cut anybody's bumper but yours! the nerves would have made the airsaw a little jittery!
I never even got nervous bout putting great big holes in brand new evo bumpers for various things but mark loves doing that kind of thing!

Na the Apex kit is absolutly first class, ive fiitted loads of different kits like HKS,Greddy,APS ARC etc etc and this equals it for sure.

Just got to set the evc5 up tomorrow so shouldnt take too long quite looking forward to seeing wot its like after the work.

Yeh they aren't rocket science by any means. Used them only a couple of times on evo's. Im a lover of the AVCR tbh but a boost controllers a boost controller at the end of the day. :thumbs:

At the end of the day, buying a ?40 set of projector fog lights and wiring them straight into the existing wiring is a totally acceptable compromise Considering I only use my fogs (legally) once or twice a year at most.... The only time front fogs are really any use are in night-time pea soupers, and we just don't get them any more...

as nicely said, there's just no way they'd fit with the areo bumper...

see how it comes right through were the fog would be....

big shame coz that would look good if you could keep the fog..would look even more of an animal....still...it make the car run better,u can get other light to go in there m8.
