i just couldnt be bothered taking the whole stick out.
if your careful the only thing that can happen is you get a few filings in the car (thats why i covered everything)
theres no way youll damage anything.

bought the sound deadening stuff from JayCar for 15 bucks
no shit, noise is gone!
