Tein tie rod & ends

Been looking at the Tein brochure at work ths morning,
they list strengthend tie rod & ends for the s15.

They give a strength chart for s13 / s14 /s15
and say that the Tein tie rod end gives you 55% more over stock on s15 !
its only a 31% strength over stock on s13, and 10% on s14.

Just thought it was a little strange that the s15 stock strength is the lowest :wack:.

Maybe theres a OEM design reason for this.

There are different PNs for the S14, S14a, S15 and S15 with HICAS, but I can't see them being vastly different..

I have these fitted to my drift car. Afaik i just ordered S14 ones.. Fit fine.

i've these on my s15 too. :thumbs:all tein rods have the same rod diameter. the difference is the diameter of the oem rods form each generation.

think the s15 got the smallest rod cause its the lightest and the s14 the biggest cause its the heavyist.

as you know the tie rods connet the steering rack to the wheels so its only right to give thicker rods to a heavier car and thinner for a lighter car.

i might be wrong.
