Hello!

I'm getting my dual mass fly wheel skimmed and the guy doing it doesn't want to touch it untill he knows if it suppose to V tp the flat surface evenly from the centre and outer edge of the flywheel! Pr if its suppose p
Be flat across the whole surface.

Because in order for it to be flat the whole way across
He would have to take a 1/4 of a inch of it and the angled edges seemto
Be evenly cut not worn differently.

I.e should the surface be flat or should it V fom each edge to a flat surface??

Cheers!

They need to knock out the dowel pins and skim the whole face flat. Most people won't touch dual-mass flywheels as they're a pain to mount onto the lathe, it took me ages to find a place that would do mine.

Nope I didn't have any problems at all with mine. As long as they know what they're doing and skim it perfectly flat you will be fine.
