what is this thing ?

sorry if i'm posting in the wrong section.
but i just got a S15 and it has this thing that i have no idea what it is or what it does.
do some one know what it is ? and let me know ?

It's called a switch, and activates something if you push it...

Mine has it and I wondered the same thing. It activates heaters under the front wiper blades, if you look at the windscreen you'll see orange lines under the wipers, they are the heater elements.

I've got one I was told it was a heated windscreen and thought it was broken as it never helped de-mist :wack:

Everyone I know that has this option says it doesnt work very well. lol. I'm ok without it even though it would be a cool feeature to have along with the built in dash Navigation...that would be nice too.

It doesn't help demist the whole screen it just heats and defrosts where the wipers sit so if they are frozen to the screen it melts the ice to stop them tearing , Does work but is pretty pointless would prefer a proper heated screen
