Thanks Dave for updating the build.

After seeing the time and dedication put into this S15, I pestered Dave to let it go when he decided he wasn't going to drive for this years Nurburgring trip.

Money changed hands and I became the new proud owner.

First was a bit of pre-emptive maintenance with a service, fresh coolant and water pump change.

New genuine pump and sealant

Installed.

With a set of new belts to finish off.

Finally, the gearbox oil change.

So inevitably it broke, the stock T28 gave up one Saturday morning. AA to the rescue, it had been running maxed out for the past 2/3 years so wasn't much of a shock.

Stripped it down ready to decide what to do next.

Lots of shaft play, time to go bigger.

New Z32 AFM from AUS and Tomei pigtail.

I also picked up a Works Bell boss for added security.

With quite a few Tomei parts already on the car, I emailed Jesse Streeter and ordered a new turbo.

It was a hard decision between the M7960, smaller and more responsive or the M8270 which is bigger. I opted for the M8270 as I didn't want to be limited in future.

First up I heat wrapped the Tomei manifold and elbow, to try and keep the heat down near the ABS pump.

Assembled everything I could off the car, Tomei everything!

A tight squeeze.

Can't beat late nights working on the car.

The final pieces to the puzzle, Nismo 740cc injectors, Tomei rocker arm stoppers and a few goodies from RHDJapan.

Also a new Apexi power intake to suit the Z32 AFM.

Installing the injectors was a pain, in the end I split the intake manifold.

With everything installed it was time for mapping. I headed over to Runcorn to visit Chris at EFI Parts. A few issues with boost leaks fixed and it made 364.3bhp/363.8lb-ft at the fly.

While giving the car a spanner check ready for Nurburgring I noticed some play in the rear wheel bearing, they are the same as the UK S14A.

Off we set to Nurburgring! Eurotunnel picture.

Quick stop in Belgium on the way for a friend to get his car mapped.

A total of 5 laps done on the trip with no issues.

I think this is from the 1st lap.

Exit on my 5th lap.

Obligatory ring complex photo with Jono's M2 and Dom's FK2.

One of my favourites taken by the photographers.

My best time was 9:04 BTG, it would of been much quicker in more capable hands!
