right, got the lovely hole cut in the battery tray and all that fun stuff.

problem is, the positive terminals will not reach round far enough to get near the battery now its moved. ive seen some pics with new wiring made up, and ive seen others with the stock red thing still being used.

question is, is there a way to cleverly use the stock stuff. or am u going to have to rewire it all with some new wires?

thankies.

You need to get a battery that fits sideways so the positive post is next to the fuse box ;)

my battery was terminated the same as above, with positive next to the fusebox.

86mm hss holesaw will cut through the battery tray no problem.

thats the thing, my wiring loom wont pull round that far. the 2 small ones that plug into the red thing are too short coming out of the fuse box. i dont want to tug them too hard!

It should if it went to your old battery, its about the same distance, maybe even a fraction shorter than running it to the stock position.

the wires were poked back in the fuse box... they are about 5 inches longer than i thought they were ^^

all sorted now!
