Believe it or not it was actually Nissan that did that to the S15!! It was a factory optional front end that they offered on it. I think it was supposed to be based on the old Z models. Can't imagine they sold too many! Japanese car companies are seriously crazy sometimes.

Really?! I can see the resemblances to the z cars with the lights now you've said that though. Seen a few of the spin offs but not seen that one! Love to see the sales brochure for it, especially with that bonnet gap.

This is from the brochure, its very poor quality but the only one I could find. I think it's hilarious how they didnt bother to redesign the wings or bonnet to suit as you can still clearly make out the shape of the original headlights in both pictures lol

was a factory option from nissan as far as im aware. very rare though, who in their right mind would choose to have that instead of a normal front end i dont know lol.

I commented on this on fb,some bloke reckons its a cleaner car then mine LOL:rotfl:

Yes BigDave is right, it was a Japanese factory kit only available in Japan as a sort of salute to the 240Z.

Heres another photo of one that I first saw several years back.
