Finally re painted the old girl . Had a fabricator in that damaged the quarter so decided to redo the whole lot as I wasn’t 100% happy with it . Used a new variant of the colour which is slightly lighter and I much prefer it . Painting the kit next week then glass will be going back in so she will at least look like a car again ! I have ordered a Koyo core to make a custom intercooler , other than that I need to sort fuel and brake lines , loom , downpipe and 2 screamers other than that o have basically everything so maybe next year will actually see some action

progress has been slow due to expanding the business and keeping up with customer builds , also having a kid taking up any other spare time lol but I have been buying stuff to make sure it’s perfect when it’s done ! When my hypertune inlet arrives it’s off to Walton motorsport to have the intercooler made , downpipe , screamers etc as well so it’s all matching and top quality ! Koyo cores here so looking forward to getting these last bits done and take it for a blast ..Should only be a couple of weeks now till the inlet arrives so going to get cracking on with the underside so it can all go back together . Still tempted to do an 8hp conversion with sequential style shifter but I have a cd009 kit ready to go in so may just run that for now ..

So I ordered a hypertune inlet back in April via platinum racing products / prp. To say the experience has been painful is a bit of an understatement .
Months of waiting , lots of ignored messages then when it finally arrived in December it arrived with damage , bolts half sticking out ,awful looking anodising ( didn’t even anodise the throttle body to match as I had ordered ) and no fuel rail spacers so it’s still unusable 🫠🫠 this was the last piece I needed so was hoping I could get the car done this year ( as I was originally told 8 weeks I thought it would leave plenty of time ) but it wasn’t meant to be .
So anyway moving on , hoping to get some spacers made up for the fuel rail, paint the plenum now to make it a bit nicer and I will paint the intercooler pipes to match . We are hoping to get the engine and glass in the car feb time then it can go off to have the intercooler and exhaust bits made up then I need to finish the fuel system and wiring then off for mapping hopefully ! Being that it’s big bears 10 year anniversary this year it would be nice to have at least one of my s15 done ….
At least the parts are here now and we can start moving along again ! Excited to finally get the car on the road again
