s14 engine into s15?

I know theyre both sr20det engines but im looking into a spare to rebuild from the s14. What will i have to change to get it to suit the s15?

Not much, their pretty much identical. The main differences are in the gearbox and diff and other areas like body suspension IC etc.

Ok so would i have to use the s14 gearbox and clutch or would the s15 box and clutch go straight on?

if the blocks are the same then the mounting points for the gearboxes should be the same as they are tapped into the block are they not?

i think what was meant is that the gearbox is different as in internally - ratios/number of gears etc....

also the s15 sr20s have vvt but other than that the engines are almost exact
