Well, if everyone has the same feeling then I would obviously be really pleased with that, but only if everyone feels the same way. It's almost certain to get snapped into many little bits though


I was planning on using the mould that we will have to make one for myself over time out of pure carbon fiber. It will probably cost around £150 for enough CF to do it though!

Personally as you are going to the effort of sorting all of this Craig I am more than happy to pay £13 more and you can keep or sell the original.
There has to be some perks for the organiser!!

One question though; any idea what colour the gel coat will be? If you could get it done black it would be good, but if you can't, it's not a problem.


I don't mind what happens to the original. You've done all the leg work to organise this, so if it does survive the moulding process I've no objections to you keeping it

I was planning on painting it at some point, but like you said, black will look good on anything, and will be more subtle than white untill I do paint it
Black would look more of a factory finish, matching the standard pipes, rocker cover, aibox and so on.

That £150 I mentioned is just to cover the cost of the carbon fiber to do the job as it will need quite a few layers (around 10x as much as the ones on here).
Actually making it will cost a lot more too as the process is totally different.

Yeah, it is £15 to the UK mate for delivery.
I certainly hope so too. The minimum number at this price is 20 but if we are nearly there I cant imagine there being an issue as we are spending so much money with the guys who are building them.
