What is there not to like?
99.9% of the time you probably wouldn't know the car has ABS and that 0.1% it can save your life or at least your wallet.

I did a trackday with the Lancer Evo owners club a few years back and some guy thought it would be good to turn off his ABS. Surprise surprise braking for the last corner (in front of all the spectators) he locked up and crashed into the barriers...

I took abs outta my car and now I wish I hadn't. Used to have it in my old s13 and now I miss it.

because nyour preciouse abs doesnt work going backwards ;)

ive spent the last 4 years driving 200sx's without abs and thats the way i like them
compeated in them and done a hell of alot of trackdays and i just dont like it

nothing worse than spinning your car drifting or on track and the brakes dont work

anyway its getting removed and not the question ive been asking :)

The s13 and s14 are off the tranny on both motors so I doubt they change it on the s15

SX-SI,

The speed is measured from a sensor plugged into the diff housing (this is also one of the ABS sensors)

Some people just remove the ABS fuse for track days etc, (this also disables speedo and the odo)

Changing diff centres/ ratios won't have any effect on ABS, removed or not.

The solenoid next to the rad is part of the emissions control. It's slightly different to the S14 (which does it all via the carbon canister). The S15 canister is smaller and doesn't take a boost reading. The solenoid does this and also works as a valve. This is on the JDM S15s. The ADM S15s have the same setup as the S14.
