"0" Boost Reading

Guys,

I have this issue:- The boost reading is at 0 when i turn on the ignition and stays there when driving/flooring. It doesnt gauge anything although spooling/turbo sound is normal. The needle then points at -5 when ignition is turned off.

I've read in the forums that it could be the boost hose.

Could it be something else as i didnt come across anyone else with the 'exact' same problem?

Is it a factory boost gauge? Electric or vacuum? Depends on what type of gauge it is to what the problem could be.

I think they are electric. Check the wiring at the back of the gauge and on the sensor in the engine bay. Maybe you have a loose or broken wire. Also check the sensor itself and the tubing.

yeap that would be a leak in your vacumm line feed to you to the sensor. the original hose tend to get brittle and split. change it for some 4mm silicone hose stuff.
