I did mean to get some photos of mine for you mate but i havent had to take te bumper off... If you get some straight thin steel bar, you can easily rotate the standard bottle lengthways (so the pumps face the chassis rail), then with a bit of bending and drilling of thw bar youll have it mounted up. there are a few m6 bolt holes to use there too ;) that way you can maintain both pumps and controls (front and rear)...

Cheers guys, before I order it, how does it mount in the wing?!

Sorry Dean saw that post late! Pics would be nice but don't take your bumper off just for me! Is yours fully 90 degrees turned then or just enough to miss the cold pipe?

Mines pretty much at 90 to what it was, but if you make your own brackets you can have it how you want, as long as it clears :)

If you do decide to go for the small bottle/pump Mike the kit should come with mounting bracket which you can bolt against the existing bracket that holds the OEM bottle...

Luckily for me, I've relocated my battery to the rear passenger footwell so my small bottle will locate where the battery used to be :)

Well she's back together only the battery to finish off now. Going to tie it down with some jubilee clips and take it for a shakedown tomorrow.

Here she is all fitted, but no job is complete without the bag of bit you found no need for.

Overall I'm very happy, this is probably the most involved job I have taken on with a car I've owned and happy I've seen it through. I need to get used to it though, I feel the need for a Fruitbooter style overhaul.

Hah! No I didnt, was a self tapper holding the fog on digging in so i cut it off! It close to the fogs on that side though need to keep an eye out. The hose is just the colour I choose the Gizzmo solenoid still isn't fitted yet

Its a nice kit but of the 3 people I know that have fitted them it seems they all have fitted slightly differently... I blame the instructions they are right balls.

I actually had the same problem with the wiring on my fogs. I managed to turn the back plate upside down and got it to lock in so the connector goes up and not down. The connector is weather proof, but still I would rather have a little water in it for a long time than the wiring being melted in 15 minutes.

Had brace sat around for ages and finally managed to whip out the autosol and get some paint chose this colour and going to do the rocker cover the same soon. :)

Did the bonnet stay too.

Quick interior one as havent done one yet.

Had a bbq other day and this is mates ep3, found it interesting as i had a 55 plate literally identical to this a few years back. Awesome cars though he does park in disabled spaces!

And then what a time to not have a decent camera on you! I would have taken more but a drunk guy wouldnt stop asking me questions about it!

New favorite pics.

Small update should have some more tomorrow to but I snapped up some s-body Recaro fitting rails by Raptor of Sxoc and found some Evo 4 super rad 90's patterned Recaros to bang on them. Only managed to get the drivers one on as ran out of bolts! But totally changed the driving experience. Very very impressed.

The centres arnt to my taste although they do strangely match the mats! I know a guy who knows a guy that is a car re-trimmer! So shall be getting them redone and replace the drivers bolster. But here's how it looks now! :)

Getting other fitted tomorrow as well as manifold, elbow, front pipe! Exciting times! :)

It's dead easy to retrim the centres of those seats. I've recently rebuilt the Recaros in my EK9 as the bolsters has collapsed and was surprised how well they come apart.

Have a look on capital seating's website, they specialise in Recaro parts/repairs :)

As above its not hard to do I used to work as a trimmer and here really is nothing to it if you have the patience and tools!!
i quite like them lol do the bolsters not press up against the arm on the door? I looked into evo recaro but always thought they would press up against the door and wear quickly.
Car is looking sweet though dude and some nice upgrades to come!!

I've replaced a bolster on my old dc5 so pretty happy with doing that myself but didn't realise they were that easy to re-trim? Not sure if it's something fancied doing myself I can see them looking like someone stapled a bin bag to it! But if you guys reckon it's that easy might look into it.

Cheers man, having to dig out the Blitz bung as gonna be loud with rest of the exhaust on! The only place I've noticed the Recaro's rubbing is the door cards, they press on it. It's a pain because you can't turn the wheel on the side of reach the belt with the door shut! Think i can live with it though. I can take some more pics if you'd like to see how the fit a bit better?
