I spoke to the guy at the bodyshop about tigerseal and he said the tape is fine as it's the stuff BMW use to secure their spoiler lips to the boot. The Vertex spoiler is plenty secure. Maybe it's because I use rain-x on the windows so it's not bonded to the glass properly.. it didn't fall off, I noticed it was sticking up at one side from about halfway so I pulled it off to save it coming off when driving. It's a gash fit as it doesn't have the correct curvature for the window, it's too flat on the underside so sticks up a bit at the sides and needs bending down, but it really isn't very flexible. Would have expected better from a company like origin.

Yeah maybe that's what it is then, might not have cleaned the window properly before fitting the spoiler if they didn't know it had the rainx on there . Lucky you spotted that !
That doesn't sound very good for origin as you say would expect better! Still looks damn good ha ha ha

This build is looking good! I think I commented on your post on SilviaRepublic facebook page about smoothing your boot key hole ;)

What sort of mods have you done to get the power gains? (I probably missed it in the previous pages)

Yes mate I remember, probably not going to bother with the key hole tbh haha...

It's had fmic, 555cc injectors, full exhaust including manifold, h-Dev stage 2a map, clutch, boost controller for the current figure.

This car is absolutely perfect, credit to you!! Is your Kakimoto N1 exhaust the new Jasma version? I’ve been debating on buying it for a while now but not sure if it’ll be too quiet due to the Jasma restrictions

Cheers gents!

I don't think it is a new version, it came on the car from Japan and has been on there since at least 2011 when it was brought over, so I'm guessing it's the older version. It's quiet when cruising but loud enough when I put my foot down

No updates for a while because nothing has happened, just been enjoying driving it.

Started getting bits together for stage 3a, just need the Z32 AFM which should be here this week and I'll be ordering a new GT2871R next week, hello 350bhp. :D

nice mate, prefect power for the S15 in my opinion.. unless you want to spend 2k+ for a better box..

You going to the SXOC weekender at the end of the month by the way?

Yeah I don't plan on an uprated box tbh. May go for cams in the future and push it up to 400 but we'll see. I'm not going to the weekender, off on a holiday with the mrs...

My mate is at 400 now and has blown two standard boxes, so they don't last very long at that power (unless you drive like a granny, but that defeating the point)..

No worries about the weekender, I've been to a few and they are a good laugh..
